Contents page progress - 2

After creating the background for my contents page I then decided to add some detail to make the contents page look more presentable and welcoming for the readers and audience, this included me using the drawing tool to create small borders around the page, these borders consisted of the main theme colours again to represent the magazines traditional British theme.

In the middle of the top header is the heading 'contents' I used a basic font but put in bold, the reason I used a basic font was because I wanted it to stand out from the rest of the text within the page. I made the colour of 'contents' black was because I wanted it to be bold and stand out, in a smaller text size I put the issue number letting the reader know what issue it was, I done this by creating a text box and typing the content that I wanted into it. I found that on the majority of music magazine contents pages the issue numbers are shown for the readers purposes.

Underneath the header of the page is the slogan, again it has the same font as the front cover and is also placed in the same position. I decided to put the slogan on the contents page because sometimes readers remember the slogan more than the title and then associate it with the company. To make the slogan (motto) more effective I used the same technique as the borders and put lines either side to attract the reader to the slogan more.
