Front cover progress - 2


Next I added the main image to go onto my front cover of Top Pops magazine, when I took the image the background was still there so I had to remove it because the background was irrelevant and not related to the artist in any way. To remove the background I used the software of Photoshop, this involved me using the selecting tool and refining the edges, this here was the changes between the images:



I then placed the image onto my front cover, when doing this I arranged the image on front of the headings to show that the picture of Steele was the main artist of this weeks issue. When taking the picture and placing it onto the cover I had to take into consideration the spacing to prevent getting dead space when everything had been added onto the front cover. I used the drag tool on InDesign to make the image the full width of the page in order to make the image look less pixelated and look more full on the page.
